The Colorado Sound
Wed. 2 pm and Fri. 6 pm
Host Chris K., aka "goat, "is no stranger to the Colorado music scene ... he has been on the air in Northern Colorado off and on since 1977, with on-air stints at KPAW, KGLL, KCSU, KSQI, KIMN, KUAD and more. He is arguably the first dj in Northern Colorado to have played a rap record on the radio (KUAD - 1978) or in a mainstream, mass-appeal dance-club (Theo's, Greeley, 1978). ... and he has also performed as a musician throughout Colorado, either as a solo artist or in bands. Chris K. has been a character in the music scene along the Front Range of Colorado in four decades now ... and despite the grass he chews on regularly, he shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. |
